Raintree Systems, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for Medical Claims. This fully remote role is ideal for candidates in designated U.S. states and entails ensuring accurate, compliant billing and reimbursement for multispecialty services.

You will prepare claims, follow up on statuses, manage appeals, advise on adjustments, and handle patient balance inquiries while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in Medical Insurance Claims billing preferred.
• Minimum 7 years plus of experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Google applications.
• Proactive curiosity and basic AI fluency to identify efficiency gains.
• Ability to perform arithmetic and numeric analysis.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and identify trends.

Mansioni

• Prepare and re-submit clean claims to insurance companies per payer guidelines.
• Analyze and correct first pass rejected claims for second pass submission.
• Research and perform claim status follow up activities for plans.
• Review and process claim appeals with supporting documentation.
• Research and recommend customer account adjustments or write-offs.
• Identify and report claims problems to management to resolve trends.
• Generate and submit monthly patient balance due statements.
• Review patient accounts, identify delinquent accounts, and collect payments.
• Answer patient questions about billing and payments.
• Investigate and direct patient inquiries to the appropriate staff.
