The position focuses on accurate billing and timely reimbursement for multispecialty medical services, requiring strong knowledge of insurance payers, claims submission, and appeals. You will handle claim submissions, follow-ups, re-billing, and payment posting while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 7 years of experience in medical insurance claims billing.
• Experience with multiple payer guidelines and contract requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Google tools.
• Strong numerical skills and ability to perform calculations across units.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and resubmit clean claims to payers electronically or on paper according to guidelines.
• Analyze and correct first-pass rejections for second-pass clean claim submission.
• Follow up on claim status with primary and secondary insurance plans.
• Review and process claim appeals with complete supporting documentation.
• Identify and recommend account adjustments or write-offs based on collectability.
