The role reports to the Director of Finance and CEO, coordinating with insurance companies and clients to ensure timely processing, appeals, and AR reporting. Must thrive in a home-office setup and be highly independent.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medical billing experience required.
• ABA billing experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Able to work independently from a home office.

Responsibilities

• Use coded data to submit claims to insurance companies including Medicaid.
• Interact with insurance companies, providers, and patients to process and pay claims.
• Communicate clearly among employees, clients, and insurers.
• Review and appeal unpaid or denied claims.
• Verify patients' insurance coverage; liaise between insurers and clients.
• Manage collections of unpaid accounts.
• Generate Accounts Receivable reports.
• ABA billing experience is preferred.
