LifeStance Health is recruiting for a remote Medical Billing Coordinator to support accurate, detailed medical billing across a national scope. You will collaborate with a virtual team and interact with patients, clinics, and insurance plans to ensure complete and correct billing processes.

The role emphasizes self-accountability in a national virtual environment. The position offers hourly pay with potential bonuses and requires at least two years of billing experience in a medical setting,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of medical facility or medical office billing experience.
• Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams).
• Experience with automated billing systems preferred.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes with insurance, Medicare and Medicaid.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrates inclusivity and respect for diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in a professional demeanor with insurers, clinics, and patients.
• Maintain current information on correct and lawful billing practices.
• Participate in daily revenue cycle management processes.
• Keep up-to-date with SOPs, processes, and policies.
• Utilize all provided job aids and resources for accuracy.
• Support leadership with regular reporting needs.
• Meet daily productivity goals while upholding quality standards.
• Identify and communicate issues to Team Lead or Supervisor.
• Other duties as needed.
