LifeStance Health is seeking a remote Medical Billing Coordinator to join a national team. The role focuses on accurate billing processes, collaborating with the team lead, supervisor and management to ensure complete and correct billing.

The ideal candidate will work well independently in a virtual environment while contributing to a large national organization. The position offers hourly compensation between $20.00 and $24.00 with potential bonus, and requires a reliable, detail-oriented

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of medical billing experience in a facility or office.
• Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
• Familiar with all revenue cycle processes for payer interactions (Medicare/Medicaid).
• Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Responsabilités

• Perform duties with professional demeanor, interacting with insurers, clinics, patients and team members.
• Maintain up-to-date information on correct billing practices for payers.
• Participate in daily revenue cycle management processes and ensure timely completion.
• Keep current knowledge of RCM processes with SOPs, processes and policies.
• Utilize available job aids and resources provided.
• Support leadership with daily, weekly and monthly reporting needs.
• Maintain productivity goals while meeting quality standards.
• Identify issues and communicate with Team Lead or Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as needed.
