Raintree Systems, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist – Medical Claims to support multispecialty billing for therapy services. This fully remote role can be performed from anywhere in the United States.

You will ensure accurate claims processing, follow up on reimbursements, handle claim appeals, and communicate with patients about billing matters. The position offers benefits and remote work flexibility.

Formación

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in Medical Insurance Claims billing preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Google applications.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and data entry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate within a team and work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure accurate, compliant, timely billing and appropriate reimbursement for multispecialty medical services.
• Prepare and re-submit clean claims to insurance payers electronically or by paper per guidelines.
• Analyze and correct first-pass rejected claims for second-pass submission.
• Follow up on claim status with assigned insurance plans.
• Process claim appeals with complete and accurate supporting documentation.
• Suggest customer account adjustments and/or write-offs based on collectability.
• Identify and report billing issues to management to address trends.
• Generate and submit monthly patient balance statements.
• Review patient accounts for delinquencies and collect overdue payments.
• Answer patient questions about billing and payments.
• Route patient inquiries to appropriate staff.
