Raintree Systems, Inc. is hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist for medical claims. This fully remote role supports billing for multispecialty services, follows payer guidelines, and handles claim status, appeals, and patient inquiries.

Formación

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in Medical Insurance Claims billing preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Google applications.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Strong problem solving and data analysis skills; team player who can work independently.
• Familiar with HR policies, SOPs and corporate initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely billing for multispecialty services.
• Prepare and re-submit clean claims electronically or on paper per payer rules.
• Correct first pass claim rejections for second pass submissions.
• Follow up on claim status with insurance plans.
• Process claim appeals with complete supporting documentation.
• Advise on customer account adjustments or write-offs when needed.
• Identify and report billing trends and discrepancies to management.
• Generate and send monthly patient balance statements.
• Review patient accounts for delinquencies and collect payments.
• Answer patient questions about billing and payments.
• Direct patient inquiries to appropriate staff.
