Job summary

Raintree Systems, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for medical claims. This fully remote role supports multispecialty practices and handles billing, reimbursement, and patient accounts with focus on accuracy and timeliness.

You will submit claims, follow up on denials, and coordinate with payers and patients while maintaining HIPAA compliance. The position offers Remote Work/Work From Home, PTO, health benefits, and EAP.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in Medical Insurance Claims billing preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and analyze data.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, compliant, timely billing and reimbursement for multispecialty medical services.
• Collect unpaid patient accounts with goals to be met, rebilling and posting payments per regulations.
• Prepare and re-submit clean claims to insurers electronically or by paper per payer rules.
• Analyze first-pass denials and resubmit corrected claims for second pass.
• Follow up on claim status for assigned insurance plans.
• Review adjustments and write-offs with the Manager based on collectability.
