Raintree Systems, Inc. is hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist - Medical Claims in a remote-friendly environment.

You will manage billing for multispecialty services, submit claims electronically or by paper, and handle follow-ups with insurers and patients to ensure timely reimbursement. The role requires a High School Diploma, experience in medical insurance claims billing, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google applications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in Medical Insurance Claims billing preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Google applications.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure and to work with decimals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, compliant, timely billing and reimbursement for multispecialty medical services.
• Submit clean claims electronically or by paper per payer guidelines.
• Follow up on unpaid accounts and collect overdue payments.
• Analyze and correct first pass rejected claims for second pass submission.
• Research and resolve claim status inquiries with insurance carriers.
• Review and process claim adjustments and write-offs as needed.
