Job summary

Raintree Systems, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist - Medical Claims for a fully remote role. You will manage billing workflows across payer processes, submit claims, and monitor receivables to ensure timely reimbursement.

You will analyze denials, perform re-billings, post payments, and communicate with insurers and patients. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and experience in medical claims billing, plus strong MS Office and Google apps skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in Medical Insurance Claims billing preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Google applications.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Must work well within a team structure with outstanding interpersonal relationship skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate, compliant, timely billing and appropriate reimbursement for multispecialty medical professional services from various insurance payers and patients.
• Prepare and re-submit clean claims to various insurance companies electronically or by paper per payer guidelines.
• Analyze and correct first pass rejected claims for completeness and accuracy for second pass clean claim submission.
• Research and perform claim status follow up for assigned insurance plans.
• Review and process all claim appeals with complete supporting documentation for submission.
