Raintree Systems, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist - Medical Claims for a fully remote role. The candidate will manage timely billing and reimbursement for multispecialty services, reconcile balances, and handle appeals and denials.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Apps is required; prior medical claims billing experience is preferred. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in Medical Insurance Claims billing preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Google applications.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Ensures accurate, compliant, timely billing and appropriate reimbursement for multispecialty medical professional services from various insurance payers and patients.
• Collects unpaid patient accounts with goals to be met, re-billing, payment posting, contractual write-offs, adjustments, appeals per multi-state and federal insurance regulations.
• Prepare and re-submit clean claims to various insurance companies electronically or by paper per payer guidelines.
• Analyze and correct first pass rejected claims for completeness and accuracy for second pass submission.
• Research and perform all claim status follow up activities for assigned insurance plans.
• Review and process all claim appeals with complete supporting documentation.
• Identify and report billing trends and recommend adjustments to management.
• Generate and submit monthly patient balance due statements as indicated by EOBs.
• Answer patient questions about billing and payments and route inquiries as needed.
