Raintree Systems, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist - Medical Claims for remote U.S. work in designated states, including FL. You will ensure accurate billing and reimbursement for multispecialty services, submit clean claims, and address denials.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in medical insurance claims billing, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google apps, and a strong eye for detail while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Medical Insurance Claims billing preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google applications.
• HIPAA knowledge and compliance.
• Strong problem-solving and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and resubmit clean claims to insurance companies per guidelines.
• Analyze and correct first-pass rejected claims for accuracy.
• Follow up on claim statuses for assigned plans.
• Process claim appeals with supporting documentation.
• Suggest account adjustments based on collectability.
• Identify and report billing trends to management.
• Generate monthly patient balance statements.
• Answer client questions about billing and payments.
