Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience with Medical Insurance Claims billing preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook/Excel/Word) and Google Apps.
• Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, compliant, timely billing and reimbursement for multispecialty services.
• Prepare and re-submit clean claims to insurance payers electronically or on paper.
• Analyze and correct first pass rejected claims for accuracy.
• Follow up on claim statuses for assigned plans with payers.
• Process claim appeals with complete supporting documentation.
• Suggest account adjustments or write-offs to management as needed.
• Identify and report billing issues to improve trends and reduce delays.
• Generate monthly patient balance statements as required.
• Review delinquent accounts and support collections efforts.
• Assist patients with billing questions and inquiries.
