Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Program Manager to lead a Medicaid Provider Services call center program, focusing on enrollment, credentialing, and client engagement to ensure high-quality service.

The role is primarily remote with standard business hours and travel during implementation. The incumbent will guide cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and drive performance, with a focus on customer outcomes and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 5+ years of relevant professional experience or equivalent
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant professional experience
• Minimum 2 years of management experience
• Experience with financial forecasting and P&L management
• Prior Call Center experience

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of a defined program, ensuring achievement of schedule, cost, quality, compliance, and client satisfaction objectives
• Oversee day-to-day program execution, including planning, resource coordination, workload management, and monitoring progress against performance targets
• Manage program budgets, forecasting, cost controls, resource utilization, and operational metrics to support effective program performance
• Coordinate staffing, inventory and supply chain activities, and operational processes to ensure service delivery and program requirements are met
• Apply and enforce established policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and organizational requirements
• Identify, manage, and mitigate program risks, issues, and dependencies while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting
• Lead and develop a small to mid-sized team by assigning work, monitoring performance, providing coaching, and supporting employee development
• Build and maintain effective client, vendor, and stakeholder relationships, communicating program status, operational concerns, technology updates, and recommended solutions to support successful outcomes
