Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering.
• Experience in design, CAD, structures/materials, thermal/fluids, dynamics/controls or manufacturing.
• Fluency with CAD tools and MATLAB/Python for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic mechanical tasks for AI evaluation with drawings and CAD models.
• Run tasks through frontier AI models and judge outputs against standards.
• Compare model outputs and document performance differences.
• Create grading rubrics with acceptance criteria and rationale.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence and edge-case checks.
• Collaborate across design, analysis, manufacturing and test.
