Job summary

Spinoff Technopark Limited is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for freelance, project-based work conducted remotely. The role focuses on independent project execution, delivering complete, fabrication-ready designs including sheet metal components, assemblies, and enclosures.

Responsibilities include creating 2D drawings and 3D models, ensuring tolerances and fabrication requirements are met, and coordinating with the technical team across project milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical design and sheet metal design.
• Ability to deliver fabrication-ready designs.
• Experience with 0.5–2 mm sheet metal thickness.
• Knowledge of tolerances, fabrication processes, and engineering standards.
• Strong attention to detail and independent project execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and finalize mechanical designs per project requirements.
• Prepare sheet metal designs, 2D drawings, 3D models and related documentation.
• Design components, assemblies, and enclosures.
• Ensure designs meet specifications, dimensions, tolerances, and fabrication requirements.
• Coordinate remotely with the technical team and obtain approvals.
• Submit final design for manufacturing and final approval.
• Manage assigned projects and meet deadlines.
