Placements24 is seeking a highly competent Remote Chemical Process Engineer to contribute to innovative projects. This fully remote role offers flexible work from anywhere while collaborating with a global team on advanced chemical process design and optimization.

You will develop and refine processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and sustainability from a remote setup. Strong technical acumen and autonomous project management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive chemical process engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and optimize chemical processes using simulation tools and data analytics.
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs for new and modified processes, ensuring standards compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments (HAZOP/LOPA) for proposed changes and document results.
• Troubleshoot complex process issues remotely and guide on-site teams.
• Collaborate virtually with R&D, operations, and project teams across time zones.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of process designs, procedures, and safety protocols.
