Job summary

Arcfield's Strategic Technology Consulting seeks a seasoned MBSE-focused Systems Engineer and Configuration Manager to lead content generation, CM, and data management for range safety solutions for MRTFBs. This remote role requires clear technical writing and organized maintenance of hardware/software configurations.

Qualifications include 5+ years in SE, expertise with data structures and PLM, RCC familiarity, secret clearance, and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of relevant systems engineering experience with range safety knowledge.
• Experience with data/file structures and PLM tools to manage hardware/software configuration.
• Familiarity with MRTFB range safety standards and RCC requirements.
• Knowledge of MRTFB operations and flight test practices for ICBMs and UAVs.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate range safety solutions into MRTFB and flight test vehicle architectures using MBSE methodologies.
• Develop and manage system requirements throughout the lifecycle with traceability, verification and compliance.
• Provide expertise in open systems standards, mission engineering, software design as part of an integrated digital approach.
• Apply mission engineering principles to optimize and analyze system and subsystem performance across platforms and environments.
• Collaborate with mission engineers, platform architects, and government stakeholders to translate needs into architectures and solutions.
• Leverage PLM tools to manage the configuration of range safety solutions throughout the lifecycle.
