Job summary

Arcfield seeks a seasoned Model Based Systems Engineer and Configuration Manager to lead range safety solutions for MRTFBs. You will manage content generation, configuration and data management, applying MBSE and mission engineering to optimize system performance across diverse environments.

Requirements include 5+ years in systems engineering with range safety knowledge, strong writing and communication skills, and ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related technical discipline; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant systems engineering with range safety knowledge.
• Experience with data/file structures and PLM tools for hardware/software configuration.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate range safety solutions into MRTFB architectures using MBSE.
• Develop and manage system requirements with traceability and verification.
• Provide expertise in open standards, mission engineering, and software design.
• Apply mission engineering to optimize performance across platforms and environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and government stakeholders to translate needs into architectures.
• Use PLM tools to manage configuration throughout the lifecycle and integrate with system modeling.
