Job summary

JRAD is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer to support the Transportation Security Administration. The role is remote with a preference for Springfield, VA residents and involves MBSE-driven requirements development for security equipment.

You will develop CONOPS, ORD and FRD documents, promote MBSE processes, and apply MBSE tools to align user needs with system requirements across TSA projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or systems/software/computer engineering or related field.
• Minimum of five years in related systems engineering and requirements development.
• Knowledge of MBSE, systems development methodology and project management.
• Experience with MBSE tools such as MagicDraw, Cameo, Rational Rose or DOORS.

Responsibilities

• Apply MBSE to support TSA requirements development and engineering.
• Develop CONOPS, ORD and FRD artifacts for security equipment.
• Promote MBSE processes and leverage MBSE tools for requirements artifacts.
• Support TSA engineering needs and ensure traceability from user needs to system requirements.
