Job summary

Belcan is seeking a Remote MBSE Principal Engineer to lead technical MBSE initiatives and digital engineering transformations across complex programs. The role requires strong systems engineering expertise, customer engagement, and ability to guide multidisciplinary teams through MBSE adoption.

The successful candidate will define MBSE solutions, develop roadmaps, and mentor engineers while collaborating with stakeholders to drive digital thread objectives.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, digital engineering, requirements management, systems architecture, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading MBSE implementations and transformations.
• Experience with SysML modeling and MBSE tool environments.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for MBSE consulting, implementation, and transformation initiatives.
• Define MBSE solution approaches aligned with customer objectives and Belcan methodologies.
• Develop roadmaps supporting MBSE, Digital Engineering, and Digital Thread adoption.
• Lead architecture development and deployment strategies for customer programs.
• Mentor engineers and technical specialists; promote MBSE standards.
