Job summary

Belcan in the United States is seeking a Capability Engineer specializing in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to advance Belcan's MBSE capabilities. The role focuses on developing reusable methods, templates, playbooks, and advisory frameworks to improve delivery and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is REQUIRED.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of MBSE and systems engineering experience.
• Experience with MBSE tools (Cameo, IBM DOORS Next, Jama, Polarion).
• Strong MBSE methodologies and lifecycle understanding.
• Excellent technical writing, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across technical disciplines and organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mature MBSE capabilities by creating reusable methods, templates, accelerators, training materials, advisory frameworks, and implementation guidance.
• Standardize practices and convert project lessons learned into scalable delivery approaches.
• Develop maturity assessments, roadmaps, architecture frameworks, and delivery accelerators.
• Create and maintain reusable content repositories and technical assets.
• Support knowledge management, white papers, case studies, and training materials.
• Collaborate with Chief Engineers, Principal Engineers, and customer-facing teams to apply MBSE across Belcan programs.
