Job summary

Arcfield is seeking an emerging technical authority in MBSE and digital engineering to join our STC team at Eglin AFB. You will shape defense systems through advanced MBSE practices, developing requirements, architectures, and traceability across complex models.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, participation in major design reviews, and close work with DoD programs while advancing state-of-the-art systems and methods in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience applying the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) in an MBSE environment.
• Experience implementing MOSA, WOSA, and GCIA across diverse platforms.
• Proficiency with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler and SysML.
• Test & Evaluation (T&E) experience is desired, including test planning and verification.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage system requirements throughout their lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain system architectures and models using MBSE tools and methodologies.
• Apply the UAF to develop and maintain architecture views and traceability across system models.
• Identify program requirements, track performance metrics, and manage systems engineering processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure alignment and integration of systems engineering and architecture efforts.
• Perform requirements verification, compliance assessments, and model reviews for major design reviews.
• Support integration, verification, validation, and Test & Evaluation activities.

Qualifications

• BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2
• Demonstrated hands‑on experience applying the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) in an MBSE environment; UAF experience is required for this position.
• Experience implementing open systems standards and approaches, including MOSA, WOSA, and GCIA, across diverse platforms such as ground, air, maritime, space, or joint systems.
• Proficiency with MBSE tools and methodologies, such as Cameo Systems Modeler, SysML, and related digital engineering tools.
• Test & Evaluation (T&E) experience is highly desired, including experience with test planning, requirements verification, integration, test execution, and/or evaluation of system performance.
• Experience supporting major systems engineering technical reviews within DoD acquisition programs is desired.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional communication skills.
• Must possess and maintain an active DoD Secret security clearance.
