Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to lead MBSE modeling efforts using SysML and Cameo Systems Modeler. The role focuses on the development, maintenance, and integration of large-scale system models with DoDAF, spanning network services for TACMOR and related programs.

You will collaborate with engineers across disciplines, mentor teams adopting MBSE practices, and support technical meetings and capability briefings. The position is remote within the US with CONUS/OCONUS travel.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 12+ years of relevant experience or MS with 10+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance
• Hands-on MBSE experience using SysML
• Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler and related tools
• Experience maintaining large system models and requirements traceability
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and expand SysML models using Cameo and DoDAF
• Create architecture artifacts (BDD, IBD, Requirements, Use Case, Activity, Sequence) and MBSE outputs
• Manage collaborative model development using Cameo Teamwork Cloud
• Ensure traceability between requirements and model artifacts
• Review models for quality and consistency
• Contribute to MBSE standards, processes, and best practices
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to translate requirements into models
• Provide mentorship on MBSE practices and tools
• Support customer technical meetings and design reviews
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes through MBSE
