Job summary

Leidos seeks a Systems Engineer with MBSE expertise to drive large-scale SysML models using Cameo, DoDAF, and collaborative tools. You will lead model development, ensure traceability, and support MBSE standards across engineering teams.

The role is 100% remote (US-based) with CONUS and OCONUS travel, requiring DoW experience and Secret clearance eligibility. Strong communication and mentoring skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS engineering degree with 12+ years of relevant experience or MS with 10+ years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship; ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Experience in basic systems engineering and leading DoW customer design.
• Hands-on MBSE using SysML.
• Experience using Cameo Systems Modeler.
• Experience developing and maintaining system models with multiple SysML diagrams.
• Experience with requirements traceability in a systems engineering environment.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with Cameo Teamwork Cloud and Cameo Collaborator.
• Experience developing MBSE standards and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and expand large-scale SysML models using Cameo and DoDAF.
• Create architecture artifacts: BDD, IBD, Requirements, Use Case, Activity, Sequence diagrams.
• Produce MBSE outputs: ICD, IDD, SDD, RVTM, and other artifacts.
• Manage collaborative modeling via Cameo Teamwork Cloud.
• Ensure traceability between requirements and model artifacts.
• Review models for quality and consistency; enforce MBSE practices.
• Mentor engineers adopting MBSE; support MBSE standards.
