Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking MBA graduates for the Finance Leadership Development Program (LDP). As Financial Consultants, you’ll take on meaningful responsibilities to influence business and financial decisions across the finance function.

You’ll rotate to areas based on your interests and performance, gaining leadership experience through hands-on projects, senior mentors, and exposure to cost, pricing, treasury, and strategic planning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance or a related concentration is required.
• Three (3) years or more of work experience in a finance related role.
• Personal initiative and ability to present and interact with multiple levels of management and customers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to multi-task/support several projects concurrently.
• Advanced level MS Excel skills; working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support Ryder's business development and operations in costing and pricing activities, including gathering cost data for costing analysis and evaluating pricing strategies.
• Provide financial support and advice to operations management to maximize financial performance and establish controls.
• Prepare internal financial reports for executive management.
• Perform monthly analysis of financial statements to identify key trends and variances.
• Contribute to 1- and 3-year strategic planning, capital budgeting, and investments evaluations.
• Support Treasury with capital market analysis for a multi-billion dollar debt and investment portfolio.
• Conduct market and competitor analyses and present findings to Executive Leadership.
