Ryder System, Inc. is seeking candidates for its MBA Finance Leadership Development Program (LDP). The program places MBA graduates into Financial Consultant roles with responsibility across costing, pricing, and financial analysis to influence business and financial decisions.

You will be matched to a Finance Team area based on experience and interests, with exposure to senior leaders and broad development opportunities in areas such as FP&A, treasury, and capital markets.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance or related concentration.
• Three or more years of work experience in a finance-related role.
• Strong initiative and the ability to present and interact with multiple levels of management and customers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to multi-task across several projects concurrently.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support Ryder's business development and operations in costing and pricing activities, including data gathering for costing analysis, pricing strategy evaluation, risk-return analysis, contract review, analysis, and negotiation.
• Provide financial support and advice to operations management to maximize financial performance and establish controls.
• Prepare internal financial reports for executive management.
• Perform monthly analyses of financial statements to identify key trends and variances.
• Contribute to 1-3 year strategic planning, capital budgeting, and investments evaluations including acquisitions and leases.
• Support Treasury with capital market analysis for a multi-billion dollar debt and investment portfolio.
• Analyze current and potential markets, competitors, and disruptive trends and present findings to Executive Leadership.
