Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking MBA graduates for the Finance Leadership Development Program (LDP).

Participants will join as Financial Consultants with significant responsibility in cost management, pricing strategies, and financial planning, supporting operations and executive decision-making. Graduates should have an MBA with a focus on finance, 3+ years of experience, and strong presentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance or related concentration.
• 3+ years of work experience in a finance related role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to present and interact with multiple levels of management and customers.

Responsibilities

• Support Ryder's business development and operations in costing and pricing activities, including gathering cost data and development of costing analysis.
• Provide financial support and advice to operations management to maximize financial performance and establish controls.
• Prepare internal financial reports for executive management.
• Perform monthly analysis of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows) to identify key trends and variances.
• Contribute to 1-3 year strategic planning, capital budgeting and evaluations of investments including acquisitions and leases.
• Assist Treasury with capital market analysis to manage multi-billion portfolios and major bank relationships.
• Analyze current and potential markets, competitors and disruptive trends; present findings to Executive Leadership.
