Job summary

TerraPower LLC seeks a highly motivated Materials and/or Environmental Licensing Engineer to join Regulatory Affairs and Licensing. You will help develop environmental plans, manage licensing submittals, and coordinate with NRC and other regulators while supporting design teams.

The role requires a nuclear background, QA discipline, and strong communication within a matrix organization. Remote work is available, with Washington state regulatory awareness and collaboration with TerraPower’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nuclear field or related area; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong QA adherence and ability to work in a regulated environment.
• 10–15 years direct materials and/or environmental licensing experience.
• 10–15 years of NRC experience.
• 10–15 years of project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements licensing project plans.
• Manages scheduling for licensing submittals and regulatory approvals.
• Coordinates with NRC and other regulators; interfaces with design teams.
