Job summary

TerraPower is seeking a Nuclear Licensing Engineer to work in Bellevue, WA or Rockville, MD, or in a hybrid environment. You will draft and review licensing documents and interface with project stakeholders and teams to ensure compliance with nuclear regulations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in engineering and over 10 years of experience with 10 CFR regulations. An inclusive and equity-focused workplace is provided, fostering teamwork and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited, four-year university or equivalent experience.
• 10 years plus experience with 10 CFR regulations and guidance.
• Demonstrated, applicable experience in nuclear licensing, or comparable field.

Responsibilities

• Draft, author, and review licensing documents for 10 CFR Part 30, 40, and 70.
• Prepare responses to NRC audit questions and requests for additional information.
• Interface with the Licensing Team to complete licensing tasks.
