TerraPower is seeking a Materials and/or Environmental Licensing Engineer to join the Regulatory Affairs and Licensing team in Bellevue, WA. You will help develop licensing strategies and submittals, coordinate interactions with the NRC, and support environmental licensing activities for advanced reactor programs.
The ideal candidate has 10–15 years of experience in nuclear licensing, strong QA, and proven ability to work within a matrix organization and manage deadlines.

TerraPower is seeking a highly motivated Materials and/or Environmental Licensing Engineer to be a part of the Regulatory Affairs and Licensing team. This position reports to the Sr. VP, Regulatory Affairs, and is responsible for assisting with activities for materials or environmental licensing submittals. The position will assist in the development of the Environmental Report for the license application, implement the materials or the environmental licensing strategy, develop regulatory submittals, and assist in managing interactions with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, other regulatory authorities, and industry group s.
TerraPower’s technology is controlled for export by various agencies of the U.S. Government. TerraPower must evaluate applicants who are foreign nationals (other than asylees, refugees, or lawful permanent residents) in accordance with U.S. Government export control requirements. Salary Range: $148,722 - $193,146
*Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected individual’s qualifications experience. This range is specific to Washington State.
