Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products invites a Master Data Analyst to join our remote US team, focusing on SAP master data governance across ERP systems. You will analyze data trends, govern data quality, and support cross‑functional initiatives essential to operational excellence.

This hands‑on role requires 5+ years in master data or data analysis, with SAP experience and strong reporting skills. You will drive data governance and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Analysis, Business Analysis, or ERP support.
• Experience with SAP, SAP S/4HANA, or other ERP platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret and analyze large datasets.
• Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, Python, SAP Reporting, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and process improvement methodologies.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience developing business metrics and KPI reporting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze master data trends to identify opportunities for improved data quality, accuracy, and governance
• Create, maintain, and audit material, customer, vendor, business partner, pricing, and other master data objects within SAP and connected systems
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics that support business operations and management decision‑making
• Perform data analysis to support business initiatives, process improvements, acquisitions, system enhancements, and organizational projects
• Conduct root cause analysis of data quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, and IT teams to understand data requirements and support business objectives
• Monitor data governance controls and compliance with established master data standards and policies
• Support testing, validation, and implementation activities related to master data processes and system changes
• Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Maintain documentation, procedures, and business rules related to master data management processes
• Provide guidance and training to business users regarding master data standards, governance, and best practices
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance data accuracy, reporting, and operational performance
