Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a Master Data Analyst to govern and optimize enterprise master data across SAP and related systems. The role partners with Finance, Procurement, and IT to ensure data accuracy, quality, and governance across material, customer, vendor, and business partner data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Analysis, Business Analysis, or ERP support.
• Experience with SAP, SAP S/4HANA, or other ERP platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills and KPI reporting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze master data trends to identify opportunities for improved data quality, accuracy, and governance.
• Create, maintain, and audit material, customer, vendor, business partner, pricing, and other master data objects within SAP and connected systems.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics that support business operations and management decision-making.
• Perform data analysis to support business initiatives, process improvements, acquisitions, system enhancements, and organizational projects.
• Conduct root cause analysis of data quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, and IT teams to understand data requirements and support business objectives.
• Monitor data governance controls and compliance with established master data standards and policies.
• Support testing, validation, and implementation activities related to master data processes and system changes.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Maintain documentation, procedures, and business rules related to master data management processes.
• Provide guidance and training to business users regarding master data standards, governance, and best practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance data accuracy, reporting, and operational performance.
