Job summary

NerdWallet is seeking a Marketing Operations Associate to support its Student Loans business. You’ll work remotely or in-office, handling lender compliance, reporting, affiliate campaigns, and contract orchestration as an individual contributor reporting to the Senior Staff Marketing Lead.

The role focuses on scaling marketing channels, strengthening data accuracy, and maintaining efficient operations while aligning with NerdWallet’s mission to help consumers make smart financial decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and dashboard creation.
• Experience with Voluum, Ironclad, WordPress, Amplitude, Databricks.
• Experience in fintech, lending, financial services, or another regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage lender compliance updates and partner communications across landing pages and systems.
• Build and maintain marketing reports and dashboards, incl. ad hoc analyses.
• Investigate discrepancies between reports and data sources.
• Manage landing page content and lender display order; support page updates and tests.
• Set up affiliate campaigns in Voluum and share assets with partners.
• Reconcile partner billing and invoices; approve/deny invoices and surface discrepancies.
• Maintain payout rates and revenue terms in internal systems.
• Manage partner contracts in Ironclad and track workflow stages.
• Coordinate across lenders, partners, Finance, Marketing, and internal teams.
