Qualifications
- 0-2 years of energy industry or analytical experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, economics, computer science, chemistry, physics, finance, business required.
- Interest in clean energy and power markets.
Responsibilities
- Build understanding of daily energy market operations in different jurisdictions.
- Monitor real-time market conditions, asset availability, and strategy performance.
- Support bid submission and code debugging for day-to-day assets management.
- Improve price forecasts and ingest into bidding models; develop and assess new models.
- Design, build, and validate automated power market bidding/trading strategies using Python and SQL.
- Create PowerBI dashboards and analytical reports.
