Job summary

Leidos Energy is seeking an Energy Market Analyst to support a growing North American power market practice. You will work on market projections, asset valuation, and consulting reports for utilities and developers.

Experience in US power markets, proficiency with market models (Aurora/ProMod), and strong Excel/communication skills are essential. This role offers remote options and opportunities to impact generation and energy strategy projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics/Statistics, or related field with eight to 12 years of prior relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of the major US regional power markets.
Proficiency with Aurora, ProMod, or other similar utility/market simulation models.
Excel for ad hoc data analysis required.
Excellent communication, analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing asset and portfolio market projections and valuations and draft reports for utilities and energy clients.
Conduct market research and analysis, including modeling power generation assets and portfolios using Leidos tools and licensed software.
Contribute to new approaches evaluating emerging issues in the North American energy sector.
