Job summary

Whatnot is seeking a Market Intelligence Manager / Senior Manager to own understanding of livestream and adjacent markets, translating data into trusted insights that inform product, pricing, and customer experience decisions.

You will build dashboards, manage data sources and vendors, and partner across data engineering, analytics, sales, product, marketing, and leadership to ensure timely, decision-ready recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
• 5-6+ years in consulting, investment banking/private equity, a fast-growing startup, or similarly rigorous analytical environment
• Strong SQL skills and end-to-end data infrastructure ownership
• Experience building dashboards for senior stakeholders
• Proactive cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment
• Curious about livestream/market trends and AI-assisted problem solving
• Experience vendor management and external data source management

Responsibilities

• Monitor livestream shopping market performance and benchmark Whatnot against peers
• Own data sources and vendor relationships from evaluation to ongoing quality
• Create dashboards and reporting used by senior leaders
• Identify pricing, promotions, and policy shifts; propose responses
• Develop leading indicators to give teams runway for action
• Translate external data into actionable recommendations
• Stand up forums/escalation paths for coordinated responses
• Build scalable tooling and data infrastructure
