Whatnot is seeking a Market Intelligence Manager/Senior Manager to own live shopping market understanding and adjacent markets. You’ll turn fragmented data into trusted market pictures and partner with data engineering, analytics, sales, product, and leadership to back decisions on product, pricing, and customer experience.

The role combines building and advising, shaping dashboards, reports, and tools, while standing up forums and escalation paths for timely responses to market signals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 5–6+ years in consulting, investment banking/private equity, a fast-growing startup, or similarly rigorous analytical environment.
• Strong analytical rigor; proficient in SQL and data infrastructure.
• Experience building dashboards and reports for varied audiences.
• Ability to influence cross-functionally and drive change in a fast-moving environment.
• Curious about livestream shopping market trends.

Responsibilities

• See the market clearly: monitor market performance and maintain a POV on Whatnot's position.
• Get ahead of changes: spot patterns in pricing, promotions, product, and policy.
• Turn insight into action: deliver decision-ready recommendations and recurring market intel reports.
