At Whatnot, we are deeply focused on building the best possible experience for both buyers and sellers. To support this work, we must understand how the buyer and seller experience on Whatnot compares to the experience at other livestream shopping marketplaces and adjacent marketplaces. That's what this role is for. The Market Intelligence Manager / Senior Manager owns how Whatnot understands the livestream shopping market and adjacent markets, so we always have an accurate understanding of where we can improve our buyer and seller experience to stand out. This role is equal parts builder and advisor: turning fragmented and noisy data into a trusted picture of the market, and spotting what's coming next before it becomes urgent. You'll work closely with people across the organization - including data engineering, analytics, sales, account management, product, marketing, and senior leadership - to make sure Whatnot always has the data to back decisions that impact product, pricing, and customer-experience decisions.
We offer flexibility to work from home or from one of our global office hubs, and we value in‑person time for planning, problem‑solving, and connection. Team members in this role must live within commuting distance (50 miles) of our Los Angeles, Seattle, San Fran or New York hubs.
Whatnot is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. We value diversity, and we do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, parental status, disability status, or any other status protected by local law. We believe that our work is better and our company culture is improved when we encourage, support, and respect the different skills and experiences represented within our workforce.
Compensation Range: $138K - $153K
