Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Manager, Market Access Liaison to optimize payer performance and resolve coverage, reimbursement, and billing issues that affect patient access. This remote role spans Abbott's Cancer Diagnostics portfolio, emphasizing collaboration with KAMs, Revenue Cycle, and external partners.

You will guide field teams with education and tools, support payer outreach, and drive process improvements while applying deep knowledge of billing, coding, and payer policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field (or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu).
• 8+ years in market access, payer strategy, reimbursement, revenue cycle, or billing management in healthcare services.
• Working knowledge of genomic/diagnostic/oncology environments.
• Knowledge of payer policies and claims performance; billing regulations awareness.
• Understanding CMS ICD-10/ICD-9 coding conventions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor payer, claims, reimbursement, and billing performance; prioritize issues by impact.
• Develop resolution strategies across KAMs, Revenue Cycle, sales, analytics, and partners.
• Provide reimbursement guidance, tools, and education to field teams and KAMs.
• Support payer outreach and translate issues into scalable process improvements.
• Maintain knowledge of billing regulations and apply to cross-functional workflows.
