Based remotely in the United States, you will influence coding, coverage, and payment strategies, monitor policy changes, and engage with trade associations to advance Abbott's market access agenda.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years advising healthcare organizations on regulatory, reimbursement, and strategic matters.
• 5+ years advising CLIA laboratories on Market Access strategy related to diagnostics.
• Advanced knowledge of CMS and HHS billing guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to distill policy into actionable guidance.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Advise on coding, coverage, and payment strategy for pipeline and on‑market products.
• Lead and support reimbursement implementation, including ADLT collection and reporting.
• Serve as SME on federal and state health policy affecting laboratory diagnostics.
• Monitor legislative and payer developments and translate into business actions.
• Represent Abbott in trade associations and advocacy groups to shape policy positions.
• Demonstrate experience translating regulatory language into business impact.
