Job summary

Amex GBT is seeking a remote Traveler Care specialist to book and manage marine and corporate travel from home in the United States. You will advise on itineraries, use Amadeus GDS, and communicate across phone, chat, and email while upholding travel policies and data security.

This 24/7 team operates with US-specific shifts; successful candidates will deliver proactive service, collaborate with the team, and meet customer satisfaction metrics while maintaining high travel industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience in travel, marine travel preferred and understanding of fares and ticketing rules for car, air, and hotel.
• Proven client service excellence with proactive needs anticipation.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail and integrity with traveler data.

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for marine and corporate customers.
• Book domestic and international travel (air, rail, hotel) across complex itineraries.
• Use Amadeus Global Distribution System (GDS).
• Communicate effectively with customers via phone, chat, and email.
• Act as a trusted advisor, selling additional services and ensuring policy compliance.
