Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Specialized Travel Consultant to book marine and corporate travel from a home-based set up in the United States. You will coordinate itineraries, leverage Amadeus GDS, and provide proactive service to customers while upholding company travel policies.

You’ll work with a collaborative team, handling complex bookings and inquiries across domestic and international trips, while delivering exceptional traveler experiences at all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in travel, preferably marine business travel.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced service environment.
• Ability to use travel policies and recommend suitable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for marine and corporate customers.
• Book domestic and international travel across air, road, rail, and accommodations.
• Utilize Amadeus GDS to process itineraries and tickets.
• Communicate effectively via phone, chat, and email with customers.
• Act as a trusted advisor and upsell services within policy guidelines.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet service and satisfaction metrics.
