Job summary

Wipfli is seeking a CAS Advisory Manager to support manufacturing clients with high-quality financial reporting, performance insights, and operational recommendations that drive business results. You will lead engagements, mentor teams, and collaborate with domestic and overseas resources to enhance service delivery.

This role can be worked remotely anywhere in the US and involves leading client engagements and driving improvements across accounting and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
• 4–6 years accounting experience, including exposure to manufacturing environments.
• 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing accounting concepts, including WIP, inventory, job costing, and COGS.
• CPA, CMA, or similar certification preferred.
• Strong financial reporting and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and client relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review financial reporting packages and work papers for quality, completeness, and timely delivery.
• Prepare and analyze benchmarking data and KPI to support client insights.
• Present completed reporting packages and findings to clients as directed.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models.
• Provide technical accounting support to clients and their teams on complex issues.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Lead and coordinate US and offshore engagement team members for high-quality deliverables.
• Lead and coach staff and senior accountants on accounting and reporting matters.
