Job summary

Wipfli seeks a CAS Advisory Manager to deliver high-quality financial reporting, performance insights, and operational recommendations for manufacturing clients. You will lead engagements, analyze data, mentor teams, and coordinate US and offshore resources to ensure top-tier service and measurable impact.

This role is remote across the United States, with travel up to 10%. You will develop client relationships, present findings, and help clients improve accounting processes, budgeting, and cash

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience, including exposure to manufacturing environments.
• 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing accounting concepts, including WIP, inventory, job costing, and COGS.
• CPA, CMA, or similar certification preferred.
• Strong financial reporting and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and client relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Fishbowl, Katana) and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to influence outcomes, drive process improvements, and develop team members.
• Ability to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Review financial reporting packages and work papers for quality, completeness, and timely delivery.
• Prepare and analyze benchmarking data and key performance indicators to support client insights.
• Present completed reporting packages and findings to clients as directed.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models in alignment with client engagement terms.
• Provide technical accounting support to clients and their teams on complex issues.
• Identify operational inefficiencies through client discovery sessions and recommend actionable improvements.
• Lead and coordinate the efforts of US and offshore engagement team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables, efficient workflow management, and a consistent client experience.
• Lead and coach staff and senior accountants, providing guidance on accounting and financial reporting matters.
