Job summary

Hometown Pharmacy is seeking a Remote Managing Pharmacist to lead multiple retail locations with a balance of remote oversight and scheduled on-site visits in Wisconsin. You’ll guide pharmacists and staff, ensure compliance with state and federal laws, and drive process improvements to enhance patient care.

The role emphasizes leadership, problem-solving, coaching, and collaboration with pharmacy teams to standardize procedures and strengthen operations across locations.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy (Pharmacy degree) required.
• Current and unrestricted Wisconsin pharmacist license.
• Ability to travel to Wisconsin locations for on-site visits.
• Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and regulations.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide centralized leadership and oversight for assigned pharmacies.
• Build relationships with pharmacists, technicians, and store teams.
• Answer questions on operations, compliance, and patient safety.
• Coach staff and promote accountability and continuous improvement.
