Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Manager, Reimbursement and Payment Policy to join the Orthopaedics team. The role will be located in multiple US locations with remote options on a case-by-case basis.

The Manager will lead reimbursement strategy, policy monitoring, and field education to enable market access for orthopaedic technologies. This is an individual contributor role requiring 5–10 years of experience, strong CMS/CPT knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with Legal, Compliance,

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in reimbursement, health policy, market access, or healthcare consulting.
• Experience in medical device or life sciences industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. reimbursement systems (Medicare IPPS, OPPS, Physician Fee Schedule) and CPT/HCPCS.
• Ability to interpret CMS regulations and translate them into business implications and written materials.
• Experience managing vendors, programs, or customer support operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work across cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• CMS Payment Policy Support: develop and execute payment policy strategy across Medicare for Orthopaedics.
• Policy Monitoring & Analysis: track CMS rules, Medicaid, payer updates; summarize implications.
• Reimbursement Hotline & Vendor Management: manage hotline and vendor relationships, SLAs, and privacy compliance.
• Coding Guides, Reimbursement Tools & Field Education: update guides, ensure CPT/HCPCS alignment, train teams.
• External Engagement & Advocacy Support: draft letters, engage with stakeholders, support advocacy.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Evidence Integration: work with HEOR, regulatory, and commercial teams.
