Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Manager, Reimbursement and Payment Policy to join our Orthopaedics team. The role supports CMS payment policy, coding guidance, and vendor management across multiple US locations, with remote options considered case by case.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in reimbursement or market access within MedTech, and strong analytic, written, and cross-functional collaboration skills to drive market access strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Policy, Health Economics, Public Health, Business, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in reimbursement, health policy, market access, or healthcare consulting, preferably in MedTech.
• Working knowledge of U.S. reimbursement systems (Medicare) and coding frameworks (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM/PCS).
• Experience interpreting CMS regulations and translating them into business materials such as letters or briefs.
• Experience managing vendors, programs, or customer support operations.
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• CMS Payment Policy Support: develop and execute payment policy strategy across Medicare systems.
• Policy Monitoring & Analysis: track CMS rules, Medicaid, and payer updates; summarize implications.
• Reimbursement Hotline & Vendor Management: oversee hotline operations and vendor performance.
• Coding Guides, Reimbursement Tools & Field Education: update guides and train sales and customer teams.
• External Engagement & Advocacy Support: draft letters and materials for CMS and stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Evidence Integration: partner with HE and Regulatory teams for evidence-based reimbursement.
