Job summary

Wire 3 LLC seeks a Manager of Pole Attachment & Make-Ready to lead pole attachment permit acquisition and make-ready engineering for FTTH projects. This remote role requires self-direction and travel to regional offices; you will collaborate with OSP and Engineering leadership to keep builds on schedule.

The role emphasizes coordinating with utilities and external vendors, reviewing costs, and ensuring timely approvals across multiple markets in the Southeast US.

Qualifications

• Experience with pole attachment permitting, make-ready engineering, and utility joint-use coordination.
• 10+ years of experience in the field required.
• FTTH or CLEC construction program experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end pole attachment application process across markets in the Southeast US.
• Track permit submission, review, and approvals and escalate stalled applications.
• Coordinate make-ready surveys, cost estimates, and scheduling with pole owners and engineers.
• Review make-ready estimates to ensure alignment with scope and budget.
• Maintain permit/make-ready logs and provide status reports to leadership.
• Identify and resolve conflicts with pole ownership and joint-use agreements.
• Coordinate sequencing of make-ready work ahead of fiber construction start dates.
• Serve as primary contact for pole owner engineering and permitting departments.
