Job summary

Pearce Services, LLC is seeking a Pole Attachment Specialist to support OSP telecommunications projects—handling pole attachments, permitting, and utility coordination. You will engage with pole owners and utilities to secure approvals and maintain project momentum.

The role requires reviewing engineering drawings, understanding pole infrastructure, and coordinating with multiple utility teams. Ziply Fiber experience is highly preferred, with strong organizational skills and a focus on safety

Qualifications

  • Experience with pole attachment applications, permitting, and approval processes.
  • Strong understanding of utility coordination with electric utilities, telecoms, cable companies, and other pole owners.
  • Experience communicating with utilities through email, phone, and utility systems/portals to obtain approvals and resolve issues.
  • Ziply Fiber experience preferred or experience with similar telecom providers.
  • OSP engineering knowledge to understand pole infrastructure and attachment requirements.
  • Ability to review and interpret work prints, engineering drawings, and design documents.

Responsibilities

  • Support pole attachment projects from engineering review through application and final approval.
  • Coordinate with pole owners and other utility companies to obtain required permissions.
  • Identify pole ownership and determine the appropriate regulators/approvals.
  • Prepare, submit, track, and manage pole attachment applications and permits.
  • Identify conflicts or deficiencies that could delay approvals.
  • Collaborate with engineering, permitting, construction, and utility teams.
